Convenient and clean
These work exactly as described. The iodophor solution is pre-applied, which saves time in an emergency. I deducted one star only because the plastic stem can be a bit brittle if you squeeze too hard, but overall very satisfied.

Good for minor issues
These are excellent for small cuts and scrapes. Obviously not for deep wounds, but for the everyday bumps and bruises we get playing sports, they are perfect. The iodine smell is standard and fades quickly.

Great value pack
Fifty swabs is a lot for the price. I bought these for our family camping trips, and they fit perfectly in our small first aid box. Very effective for cleaning up small wounds without needing separate bottles of antiseptic.
Q: How long does the antiseptic effect last after application?
A: The iodophor provides immediate antimicrobial action upon contact. It continues to work as it dries on the skin. For ongoing protection, please cover the wound with a sterile bandage.
Q: Is the packaging resealable?
A: The outer box is not resealable, but each individual swab is hermetically sealed. You only open the specific swab you need, keeping the remaining 49 sterile and protected until their next use.
Q: Can I bring these on an airplane in my carry-on?
A: Yes, since the antiseptic is pre-applied to the cotton tip and not in liquid form exceeding 3.4oz, these are typically allowed in carry-on luggage. However, TSA regulations can vary, so we suggest checking current guidelines before travel.
