Excellent cooling for high-speed prints

Robust construction

Works well but overkill for basic printing

If you are just printing PLA at normal speeds, this might be unnecessary. However, for experimental materials or very high flow rates, the cooling capability is a nice bonus.

A: No, the package includes two sealing rings necessary for securing the water cooling connections.

Q: What size tubing do I need for the water cooling inlet?

A: Standard 4mm outer diameter pneumatic tubing is typically used for the water cooling connections on this model.

Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 hotend?

A: Yes, this throat tube is designed specifically to be compatible with E3D V6 style hotends using M6 threads.

Q: Can this handle abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?

A: While the outer body is stainless steel, the internal PTFE liner is not suitable for highly abrasive filaments. We recommend an all-metal throat for those materials.

Q: What is the maximum temperature I can run this at?

A: Since this tube has a built-in PTFE liner, we recommend keeping the temperature below 240°C to prevent degradation of the PTFE material.
