Excellent cooling for high-speed prints
This water-cooled throat tube works perfectly with my E3D setup. The temperature stability is noticeable when printing at higher speeds, and the PTFE liner ensures smooth filament flow.

Good quality but requires careful installation
The build quality is solid stainless steel. Make sure your water cooling loop is leak-tested before installing. Once set up, it handles PLA and PETG without any clogging issues.

Perfect replacement part

Robust construction
The stainless steel feels very durable. I appreciate the built-in PTFE tube which saves the hassle of inserting one manually. No jams after 50 hours of continuous printing.

Works well but overkill for basic printing
If you are just printing PLA at normal speeds, this might be unnecessary. However, for experimental materials or very high flow rates, the cooling capability is a nice bonus.

Great product, slightly complex setup
The performance is great once installed. Setting up the water cooling lines took some time for a beginner like me, but the instructions were clear enough to figure it out.
Q: Do I need to buy separate sealing rings for the water connections?
A: No, the package includes two sealing rings necessary for securing the water cooling connections.
Q: What size tubing do I need for the water cooling inlet?
A: Standard 4mm outer diameter pneumatic tubing is typically used for the water cooling connections on this model.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 hotend?
A: Yes, this throat tube is designed specifically to be compatible with E3D V6 style hotends using M6 threads.
Q: Can this handle abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber?
A: While the outer body is stainless steel, the internal PTFE liner is not suitable for highly abrasive filaments. We recommend an all-metal throat for those materials.
Q: What is the maximum temperature I can run this at?
A: Since this tube has a built-in PTFE liner, we recommend keeping the temperature below 240°C to prevent degradation of the PTFE material.
