Excellent for detailed carving

Decent but dusty

They do the job well enough for general grinding, but they generate a lot of fine dust. Make sure you wear a mask and eye protection. The lower grits are very aggressive.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate mandrel for these?

A: Yes, this package contains only the sandpaper rings. You will need a compatible expanding mandrel (drum sander attachment) to mount them onto your electric grinder.

Q: Can these be used wet for polishing?

A: These are designed primarily for dry grinding and sanding. Using them wet may reduce their effectiveness and could damage the adhesive backing. We recommend dry use only.

Q: What is the best grit for removing heavy rust?

A: For heavy rust removal, we suggest starting with the 80 or 120 grit rings to strip away the bulk of the corrosion, then progressing to finer grits like 240 or 400 to smooth the surface.

Q: Will these fit a Dremel 3000 series tool?

A: Yes, these rings have a standard 13mm inner diameter which is compatible with most Dremel rotary tools and similar electric grinders that accept mandrel-mounted sanding bands.

Q: Are these suitable for peeling hard seeds like Bodhi?
