Good product, tricky install for beginners
The hotend works well once installed, but swapping it out was harder than I expected. You really need to be careful with the ribbon cables. Maybe include a more detailed video tutorial link in the box.

Consistent temps at high flow
I run this at 280°C constantly for carbon fiber nylon. The temperature stability is impressive; no fluctuations even during long prints. It has become a permanent upgrade on my P1P.

Great performance but runs hot
The flow rate is excellent for bulk printing PLA and PETG. However, the fan on the hotend seems to run slightly louder than the stock unit. Not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you print in a quiet room.

Significant speed upgrade for my P1S
I installed this on my P1S to print ABS faster, and the difference is night and day. The heat recovery is instant, allowing me to push speeds to 300mm/s without under-extrusion. Installation was straightforward following the guide.

Solid upgrade for the price
Does exactly what it says. Print times are reduced by about 20% on large batches. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty.

A: No, this specific model is designed exclusively for the P1P and P1S series due to differences in the wiring harness and mounting geometry. Please check our store for X1-compatible versions.

A: Generally, no. The printer recognizes the heater and thermistor automatically. However, for optimal results with high-flow settings, we recommend adjusting the maximum volumetric speed in your slicer profile.
Q: Is the heater cartridge replaceable if it burns out?
A: Yes, the heater cartridge is a standard 50W 12V component and can be replaced individually. However, we recommend professional assistance to avoid damaging the silicone sock or wiring.
Q: Can I use standard V6 nozzles with this hotend?
A: This hotend uses a proprietary thread pattern specific to the Bambu Lab ecosystem. Standard V6 nozzles will not fit. Please use nozzles designated for Bambu Lab printers.
