Perfect thermal conductivity
This copper block heats up much faster than my old aluminum one. The temperature stability during high-speed prints is noticeable. Fits my E3D clone perfectly.

Great upgrade
Simple swap that improved my print quality immediately. No more heat creep issues since switching to this all-metal setup with the copper block.

Exactly as described
Fits standard M6 heaters and thermistors without modification. The copper retains heat very well, helping maintain consistent extrusion temperatures.

Solid construction
Very well machined. The holes for the thermistor and heater cartridge are drilled precisely. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took a bit longer than expected.

Good quality but tight fit
The material feels premium and heavy. I had to tap the threads slightly to get the nozzle in smoothly, but once installed, it works great for ABS printing.

Essential for high-temp materials
I use this for printing Polycarbonate and it handles the heat without any issues. The nickel plating prevents oxidation which was a problem with my previous uncoated blocks.
Q: Is this compatible with the E3D V6 hotend?
A: Yes, this heater block is specifically designed to be fully compatible with the standard E3D V6 all-metal hotend configuration.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The block is rated for continuous operation up to 450°C, making it suitable for most engineering filaments including PEEK and PEI.
Q: Does it come with the grub screws to hold the heater and thermistor?
A: Yes, the package includes two M3 grub screws necessary for securing the heater cartridge and thermistor in place.
Q: Can I use this with a 12V heater cartridge?
A: Absolutely. The block itself is passive; it works with any standard 6mm diameter heater cartridge regardless of voltage (12V or 24V).
Q: How does copper compare to aluminum for this application?
A: Copper has significantly higher thermal conductivity than aluminum, leading to faster heat-up times and more uniform temperature distribution across the block.
