Works well after minor adjustment
The unit works great overall. I had to tighten the thermistor screw a bit more than expected to get accurate readings, but once set, it has been reliable. Good upgrade if your stock hotend is failing.

Easy installation for beginners
As someone new to 3D printer maintenance, I was worried about installing this. The pre-assembled nature made it very simple. Just unplugged the old one, plugged this in, and leveled the bed. Printing again in no time!

Perfect replacement for my old hotend

Solved my temperature fluctuation issues

Good quality, fast shipping
The build quality seems solid. The heating block is sturdy and the nozzle threads are clean. I deducted one star because the included silicone sock was slightly loose, but it still works fine. Prints PLA and PETG without issues.

Great value for money
Buying the whole assembly is much easier than trying to piece together individual parts. Everything fits together tightly with no leaks. It heats up quickly and maintains temperature well during long prints.

Q: Do I need to update my firmware after installing this?
A: No firmware update is necessary. This is a direct hardware replacement that uses the same electrical specifications as the original part.
Q: Is this compatible with the CR-10 V2 model?
A: Yes, this hotend assembly is fully compatible with the CR-10 V2, as well as the standard CR-10 and CR-10S models.
Q: What is the length of the PTFE tube inside the assembly?
A: The internal PTFE tube is cut to the standard length required for the CR-10 series to ensure proper retraction and minimize oozing.
