Great value, minor fitment issue
Sounds fantastic and reduced the noise in my single-coil setup significantly. Had to slightly enlarge the hole for the switch in my specific body, but otherwise a great kit.

Perfect upgrade for my project guitar
The quality of the pots is excellent, very smooth rotation. The pre-wired harness saved me hours of work and the soldering points were clean and easy to work with.

Solid components

Professional tone at home
I replaced the cheap electronics in my import guitar with this kit. The difference in clarity and dynamic response is night and day. Highly recommended for DIYers.
Q: Do I need any special tools to install this?
A: You will need a soldering iron, solder, wire cutters, and a screwdriver. A multimeter is helpful for testing connections but not strictly required.
Q: Is this compatible with humbucker pickups?
A: Yes, the 500k ohm potentiometers are ideal for humbucker pickups, though they can also be used with single-coils if a brighter tone is desired.
Q: What length are the lead wires?
A: The lead wires are approximately 10 inches long, providing enough slack for most standard solid-body electric guitar cavities.
Q: Can this be used for a bass guitar?
A: While physically possible to fit, we do not recommend it for bass as bass guitars typically require 250k or 500k linear taper pots and different capacitor values for optimal low-end response.
Q: Does this kit come with the knobs installed?
A: The kit includes the knobs, but they are packaged separately and must be pressed onto the pot shafts by the user during installation.
