Good quality but requires higher temps
The build quality is excellent and fits snugly. Just note that you might need to increase your printing temperature by about 5-10 degrees compared to brass nozzles due to different thermal conductivity. Works great otherwise.

No more clogs
I was experiencing frequent clogs with composite filaments using the original hotend. Since swapping to this TZ2.0 assembly, my prints have been flawless. Highly recommend for serious makers.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. It has held up perfectly after several spools with no signs of wear on the nozzle tip. Installation on my X1-Carbon was straightforward.

Solid performer
Does exactly what it says on the tin. It's heavier than the stock unit but doesn't affect print speed or quality. The only reason for 4 stars is the price, but durability justifies it.

Essential upgrade for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass fiber or carbon fiber, this is a must-have. The standard brass nozzle wore out in two prints, but this hardened steel one is still going strong after months of use.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with regular PLA?
A: Yes, absolutely. While it is designed for abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other non-abrasive filaments as well.
Q: What is the expected lifespan compared to brass?
A: For abrasive filaments like carbon fiber, hardened steel can last 10 to 20 times longer than brass. For standard PLA, both will last a very long time, though brass conducts heat slightly better.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: This package includes the hotend assembly and a nozzle wrench. The silicone sock is usually sold separately or may be retained from your original setup if it fits.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different hotend design.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installation?
A: It is highly recommended to run a full calibration, including flow dynamics and vibration compensation, after changing the hotend to ensure optimal print quality.
