Solid performer for high-temp prints
Works great up to 280°C. I tested it with ABS and had no issues with layer adhesion. Just make sure your hotend can handle the temperatures if you plan to push the limits.

Durable and reliable
I've been using this for three months now with various materials including glass-filled nylon. No clogging issues and the tip still looks brand new. The copper plating is a nice touch for longevity.

Significant speed improvement
The CHT design really makes a difference in melt rate. I was able to increase my print speeds by about 30% without losing detail. Great value for the price compared to OEM parts.

Good quality, slightly tricky install
The nozzle itself is excellent quality and prints very smoothly at high speeds. Took off one star because the threading was a bit tight on my XPlus3 clone, requiring some careful maneuvering to seat properly.

Best nozzle for the Q1 Pro
Replaced my standard brass nozzle with this one and the difference in surface finish on tough materials is night and day. Shipping was fast and packaging was secure.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. The copper plating seems to help with heat distribution, and I haven't seen any wear after 2kg of filament. Highly recommended for the Q1 Pro.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original QIDI XPlus3 or only the clones?
A: This nozzle is designed to be fully compatible with both the original QIDI XPlus3/Q1 Pro and most common clone models that use the standard M6 threaded hotend configuration.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my extruder steps after installing this?
A: Generally, no recalibration is needed as the flow characteristics are similar to standard nozzles. However, we always recommend running a flow rate test and checking first-layer height whenever you change hotend components to ensure optimal print quality.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with pure metal filaments like BronzeFill?
A: Yes, the hardened steel construction makes it suitable for abrasive composite filaments like BronzeFill, WoodFill, and Carbon Fiber. However, always check your specific filament manufacturer's temperature recommendations.
Q: What is the exact thread pitch for this nozzle?
A: The nozzle features a standard M6 thread with a 1.0mm pitch, which is the industry standard for most desktop FDM 3D printers including the QIDI series.
Q: Does the copper plating wear off over time?
A: The copper plating is applied using a durable electroplating process designed to withstand high temperatures and friction. While eventual wear is possible after extensive use with highly abrasive materials, it significantly extends the life of the nozzle compared to unplated versions.
