Good but needs tuning
The hardware is great, but I had to spend time recalibrating my PID and pressure advance settings to get clean prints.

Perfect upgrade for Voron builds
This kit made swapping my standard hotend incredibly easy. The flow rate improvement is noticeable immediately when printing large vases.

Solid construction
Everything fits perfectly into my Voron 2.4. The machining quality on the heater block is excellent and heats up very evenly.

Great quality, tricky installation
The hardened steel nozzle is top-notch for carbon fiber prints. Installation took a bit longer than expected due to tight tolerances, but worth it.

High flow performance delivered
I am consistently hitting 30mm³/s with PLA now. The integrated throat design eliminates potential leak points found in other kits.

Best investment for speed
Cut my print times by 20% without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking to push their machine faster.
Q: Can I use this with a 24V power supply?
A: Yes, this hotend assembly is fully compatible with both 12V and 24V printer power systems.
Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than brass. With regular use of abrasive filaments, expect 6-12 months before replacement is needed.
Q: Is this compatible with the Voron 0.1?
A: No, the Dragon Extruder kit is designed specifically for Voron 2.4, Trident, and Switchwire models. The Voron 0.1 requires a different form factor.
Q: What size nozzles are included in the box?
A: The standard kit comes with one 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Additional sizes can be purchased separately from our accessories page.
Q: Does this kit come with a thermistor or do I need to reuse my old one?
A: This kit includes a new high-temperature thermistor compatible with most Voron setups, but you can reuse your existing one if preferred.
