Robust construction

You can feel the difference in material quality compared to generic kits. The ceramic heater seats perfectly, and the thermistor reads accurately against my external gauge.

Great for learning upgrades

First time upgrading a hotend. Took me about an hour, but the community support helped. Prints are coming out smoother now. Just make sure to level your bed again after install.

Good value but instructions could be better

The quality of the aluminum block is solid. I had to watch a YouTube video to get the wiring right since the included diagram was a bit small. Works great now though.

Solved my clogging issues

My old hotend kept clogging with ABS. This volcano style kit provides consistent heat and the flow rate is impressive. Highly recommend for advanced filaments.

Perfect upgrade for my Ender 3

Fan is a bit noisy

The heater block works perfectly, but the included cooling fan is louder than I expected. I ended up swapping it with a silent fan I had spare. Otherwise, good product.

Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?

A: No, this specific kit does not include a silicone sock. However, standard V6/Volcano silicone socks are widely available and fit this block perfectly.

Q: Do I need to update my firmware?
