Essential for high-temp materials
Finally able to print ABS and ASA without issues. The bimetallic design prevents the nozzle from stripping during tightening, which happened to me with previous all-brass nozzles. Highly recommended for anyone pushing their printer limits.

Robust build quality
The machining on the nozzle tip is precise, leading to very clean layer lines. The ceramic heater block heats up quickly and maintains temperature even with the part cooling fan running at 100%. A worthy investment for serious printing.

Zero clogs so far
I have printed over 5kg of filament through this hotend including wood-fill and glow-in-the-dark materials. Not a single clog. The flow rate is smooth and the retraction settings needed minimal adjustment after swapping.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this bimetallic hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The hardened steel tip handles the abrasion perfectly without clogging, and the ceramic coating on the heater block provides excellent heat retention. Installation on my Centauri Carbon was straightforward.

Good value bundle
Getting three different nozzle sizes in the pack is convenient. The 0.6mm nozzle is great for rapid prototyping. Installation instructions could be more detailed for beginners, but online forums helped fill the gaps.

Great thermal performance
The temperature stability is noticeably better than the stock brass nozzle setup. I can print at higher speeds with consistent extrusion. Only giving 4 stars because the included thermal paste tube was nearly empty, but otherwise a solid product.
Q: Does the package include a replacement silicone sock?
A: No, the silicone sock is not included in this accessory pack as it is considered a consumable item that usually transfers from your old hotend. We sell them separately if you need a fresh one.
Q: Is this hotend compatible with the original Elegoo Centauri non-Carbon version?
A: This specific assembly is designed for the Centauri Carbon due to mounting bracket differences. For the standard Centauri, please check our separate listing for the V1 hotend assembly.
Q: How often should I replace the bimetallic nozzle when printing carbon fiber?
A: While hardened steel lasts much longer than brass, heavy use with abrasive carbon fiber may require replacement after 500-1000 hours of print time depending on the specific filament brand. Inspect the tip regularly for wear.
Q: What is the thread size of the nozzle?
A: The nozzle uses the standard M6 thread pattern, which is common for most Creality and Elegoo style hotends. It is fully interchangeable with other M6 hardened steel nozzles.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with flexible TPU filament?
A: Yes, the bimetallic nozzle works well with TPU. However, we recommend using the 0.4mm or 0.6mm size and ensuring your retraction settings are optimized for flexible materials to prevent jamming in the bowden tube.
