Works well but instructions were vague
The part itself functions perfectly now that it is installed. However, the included paper guide was very basic. I had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I seated the thermistor correctly.

Good quality, minor fan noise
The heating element works great and maintains temperature very steadily. The included cooling fan is slightly louder than the OEM one, but it cools efficiently. Overall a solid purchase.

Fast shipping and great performance
Arrived two days earlier than expected. Installed it on my CR-6 SE and ran a calibration print immediately. Dimensions are accurate and layer adhesion is excellent.

Solved my under-extrusion issues
I was struggling with inconsistent extrusion. Swapping to this full assembly fixed the problem instantly. The brass nozzle seems high quality and heats up quickly.

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE

Excellent build quality
Very impressed with the machining on the heat break. Everything threads together smoothly without cross-threading. Highly recommend keeping one of these as a spare.
Q: Do I need to level the bed again after installing this?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend or nozzle, the Z-offset may change slightly. We strongly advise re-leveling your bed and recalibrating the Z-offset before your next print.
Q: What is the maximum recommended printing temperature for this assembly?
A: While the heater can reach higher temperatures, we recommend a maximum continuous operating temperature of 260°C to ensure the longevity of the PTFE tube interface and seals.
Q: Does this come with a hardened steel nozzle for abrasive filaments?
A: This standard assembly comes with a brass nozzle suitable for PLA, PETG, and ABS. For abrasive filaments like carbon fiber, we recommend purchasing a separate hardened steel nozzle compatible with this hotend.
Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed or do I need to transfer my old one?
A: The NTC 100K thermistor is pre-installed and secured with high-temperature paste. You can use it straight out of the box without transferring parts from your old unit.
Q: Will this work with the CR-6 Max or only the SE?
A: This specific model is designed exclusively for the Creality CR-6 SE. The mounting geometry differs for the CR-6 Max, so it will not be compatible.
