Good value but instructions could be better
The part itself is high quality and heats up evenly. Installation was straightforward for someone familiar with 3D printers, but beginners might struggle slightly as the included manual is very brief.

Solid upgrade for the price
Does exactly what it says. The thermal conductivity seems improved compared to my old worn-out head. Only giving 4 stars because the fan connector was a bit tight, requiring some careful force.

Solved my under-extrusion issues
I was experiencing consistent under-extrusion that I couldn't diagnose. Swapping to this complete assembly fixed the problem instantly. The brass nozzle seems to be of higher quality than the stock one.

Perfect drop-in replacement

Fast shipping and great performance
Arrived two days earlier than expected. Installed it in about 20 minutes. I've printed over 500 grams of PLA and PETG so far with zero clogs or temperature fluctuations.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for continuous printing?
A: While the component can reach up to 260°C, we recommend a continuous operating temperature of 240°C or lower for optimal longevity and safety, especially when using materials like ABS or PETG.
Q: Does this come with a spare nozzle?
A: The unit comes pre-installed with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle. While it does not include additional spare nozzles in the box, the nozzle is removable and replaceable with any standard MK8 style nozzle.
Q: Do I need to re-level the bed after installation?
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to perform a fresh bed leveling procedure after installing any new hotend assembly to ensure the first layer adhesion is perfect.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-6 or only the SE version?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model due to differences in mounting brackets and wiring connectors. It is not directly compatible with the non-SE CR-6 without modification.
Q: Is the thermistor pre-installed or do I need to attach it?
A: The NTC 100K thermistor is pre-installed and secured within the heater block. You do not need to attach it separately; simply connect the wiring harness to your mainboard.
