Perfect for abrasive filaments
Finally upgraded to the hardened steel hotend and it handles carbon fiber PLA without any wear. The installation was straightforward and the print quality improved immediately.

Great upgrade but pricey
Works exactly as described. My P1P now prints high-temp materials smoothly. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep compared to third-party options, but the fit is perfect.

If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this. The hardened steel prevents clogging and wear. Installed in under 10 minutes.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While the hardened steel nozzle is optimized for abrasive materials like carbon fiber or glass fiber, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other non-abrasive filaments.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: The package includes the complete extruder head assembly. Depending on the batch, a silicone sock may be pre-installed, but we recommend reusing your existing clean sock or purchasing a replacement separately if yours is damaged.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: This specific assembly is designed for the X1C, P1P, and P1S models. While physically similar, we recommend checking your firmware and heater cartridge specifications before installing on the non-Carbon X1 model.
