Perfect for my dead zone
I had a terrible signal in my backyard office. This extender picked up the signal from the living room and boosted it perfectly. Setup took less than two minutes using the WPS button.

Reliable TP-Link quality
I have used TP-Link products for years. This extender is no exception. It stays connected, rarely needs rebooting, and the two antennas provide good coverage for my apartment.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. The speed is slightly lower than the main router, which is expected, but it is stable enough for streaming and video calls. Compact design doesn't block other outlets.

Easy setup for non-techies
I am not good with technology, but the instructions were clear. I plugged it in, pressed the button, and it connected immediately. My kids can now game in their bedrooms without lag.

Works but range is limited
It works well if placed correctly, but you have to find the sweet spot. If you put it too far from the main router, it doesn't boost much. Once positioned right, the connection is solid.

Great for smart home devices
Bought this specifically to connect smart bulbs and plugs in the hallway that were out of range. It solved the connectivity issues instantly. The LED indicators are helpful for placement.
Q: Does it support guest networks?
A: Yes, once configured, the extender will broadcast the guest network if your main router has one enabled and configured for the extended SSID.
Q: Can I use the Ethernet port to connect a TV?
A: Absolutely. The LAN port allows you to connect wired devices like Smart TVs, gaming consoles, or PCs for a more stable connection.
Q: What is the maximum coverage area?
A: Coverage depends on walls and interference, but typically it can extend coverage by an additional 800 to 1000 square feet in open environments.
Q: Can this extender work with a 5GHz router?
A: The TL-WA933RE operates on the 2.4GHz band only. However, it can connect to a dual-band router and extend the 2.4GHz network specifically.
Q: How do I reset the device if I forget the password?
A: With the device powered on, press and hold the Reset button on the side for about 5-10 seconds until the LEDs flash, which restores factory settings.
