Withstands harsh weather
Installed these on the north side of my house where it gets freezing cold and lots of snow. The cable jacket hasn't cracked and the connection remains stable.

Good quality, stiff cable
The pure copper construction ensures great signal quality with no dropouts. It is a bit stiff to work with in tight corners, but that's expected for an outdoor-rated cable. Very durable.

Easy DIY installation
As someone who isn't a professional installer, I found this very straightforward. The pre-terminated ends saved me from buying crimping tools. Works great with my NVR.

Q: What is the difference between the 4-core and 8-core versions?
A: The 4-core version uses two pairs for data and two for power, suitable for standard cameras. The 8-core version utilizes all four pairs, offering better performance for Gigabit networks or longer distances with higher power demands.
Q: Does this cable support PoE (Power over Ethernet) standards?
A: Yes, this cable supports standard PoE (802.3af) and PoE+ (802.3at) protocols, allowing you to transmit both data and power to compatible surveillance cameras.
Q: Is this cable shielded against interference?
A: This specific model is unshielded (UTP) but features a high-quality outer jacket that provides good protection against environmental elements. For areas with extreme electromagnetic interference, we recommend our shielded (STP) series.
Q: Can I cut this cable to a custom length and re-terminate it?
A: Absolutely. Since it is pure copper Cat5e, you can cut it to your desired length and use standard RJ45 connectors and a crimping tool to terminate it yourself.
