Upgrade for older guitars

Good quality plastic
Feels sturdy and looks professional. Installation took less than a minute. Only giving 4 stars because the black color is slightly darker than my pickguard, but barely noticeable.

Perfect replacement part
My old switch cap was cracked and loose. This one fits perfectly on my Strat-style guitar. The pointed tip makes it easy to flick between pickups quickly during a solo.

Great grip and feel
The matte finish provides excellent grip compared to the shiny original. No more slipping when changing settings mid-song. Highly recommended for gigging musicians.

Decent but tight fit
The cap works well, but the threading was a bit tight initially. I had to be careful not to cross-thread it. Once on, it is very secure.

Exactly what I needed
Simple, effective, and cheap. It screwed right onto the existing switch thread without any modification. Looks just like the factory part.
Q: Do I need to solder anything to install this?
A: No soldering is required. This is a screw-on cap that attaches directly to the existing switch shaft.
Q: Will this fit a Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster?
A: Yes, this cap is designed to fit standard ST-style toggle switches found on Squier Affinity Series guitars.
Q: What if my current switch shaft is damaged?
A: This product is only a replacement cap. If the underlying switch mechanism or shaft is damaged, you will need to replace the entire switch assembly.
Q: Is the tip sharp enough to damage fingers?
A: The tip is pointed for precision switching but is molded from smooth plastic, so it is safe to touch and will not cause injury during normal use.
