Decent but ligature could be better
The mouthpiece itself sounds great, but the included ligature feels a bit cheap. I ended up buying a separate one to get the best seal and vibration.

Good quality, slightly bright
Well constructed and feels durable. The tone is a bit brighter than my rubber mouthpiece, which takes some getting used to, but perfect for pop gigs.

Excellent projection and tone
This mouthpiece completely transformed my alto sax sound. The metal body provides incredible projection without sacrificing warmth. Great value for the price.

Great upgrade from stock
Upgraded from the mouthpiece that came with my beginner sax. The difference in sound quality is night and day. Highly recommend for intermediate players.

Perfect for students advancing to metal
I recommended this to several high school students moving from plastic to metal. It offers consistent response and helps them develop better embouchure control.
Q: How does the tip opening compare to a Yamaha 4C?
A: The Inobel metal mouthpiece has a slightly more open tip than a standard Yamaha 4C rubber mouthpiece, offering more volume and a brighter timbre.
Q: Is this mouthpiece suitable for a tenor saxophone?
A: No, this specific model is designed exclusively for alto saxophones. We do offer tenor versions in our store; please check the product variations.
Q: Does it come with a reed?
A: The package includes the mouthpiece, a metal ligature, a protective cap, and a cleaning cloth. Reeds are sold separately as they are consumable items.
Q: Is the silver plating durable or will it wear off quickly?
A: The silver plating is high-quality and treated for durability. With proper cleaning and storage using the included cap, it should retain its finish for years.
Q: Can I return this if the tone doesn't match my style?
A: Yes, we accept returns within 30 days provided the item is in original condition with all packaging and accessories included. Please note hygiene restrictions on used reeds.
