Good alternative to a cushion
Much better than using a stack of books or a soft cushion. It provides a stable platform. The only reason for 4 stars is that the hinge is a little stiff initially, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Perfect for classical posture
This footrest has completely changed my practice sessions. The five-level adjustment allows me to find the exact height I need for proper ergonomics. The wood feels sturdy and the rubber pad keeps my foot from slipping.

Sturdy and portable
I travel frequently for gigs, and this folds down small enough to fit in my guitar case pocket. Despite being lightweight, it doesn't wobble at all when I'm playing.

Great value, minor assembly needed
Solid product for the price. It took about two minutes to unfold and lock into place. I wish the highest setting was just a half-inch taller, but for most players, this will be perfect.
