Solid choice for students
Bought this for my daughter's school band. It's durable and produces a clear tone. The cap fits snugly to protect the tip when not in use.

Decent but requires adjustment
The mouthpiece itself is fine, but the included reed was too hard for a beginner. Once I swapped the reed, the sound improved significantly.

Good upgrade from stock mouthpiece
The ebonite option feels very comfortable and offers a warmer sound than my original plastic mouthpiece. Took a little time to break in, but worth it.

Excellent value for the price
I bought the metal version for my student band. The tone is bright and projects well without being shrill. Great build quality for the cost.

Love the metal finish
The polished silver look is stunning and matches my horn perfectly. Sound is crisp and responsive, making high notes much easier to hit.

Professional sound on a budget
As a semi-pro player, I was skeptical, but the Jiuye delivers consistent intonation across all registers. The ligature holds the reed securely.
Q: Can I return this if the tip opening is too wide for me?
A: Absolutely. We accept returns within 30 days as long as the item is in original condition with all packaging and accessories included.
Q: What is the difference between the metal and ebonite versions?
A: The metal version typically produces a brighter, more projecting sound suitable for jazz and pop, while the ebonite version offers a warmer, darker tone often preferred in classical settings.
Q: Does this mouthpiece fit a tenor saxophone?
A: No, the Jiuye model is specifically designed for Alto Saxophones (Eb). We offer separate models for Tenor and Soprano saxophones.
Q: Is the ligature adjustable?
A: Yes, the included ligature features two screws that allow you to adjust the pressure evenly on the reed for optimal vibration.
Q: Does it come with a cleaning swab?
A: This specific package includes the mouthpiece, cap, ligature, and one reed. A cleaning swab is sold separately in our accessories section.
