Best heads for rock and pop
These G2 Oil heads are fantastic. The double ply gives great durability and the oil coating really tames the overtones without needing extra muffling. Perfect for my live gigs.

Perfect upgrade for my starter kit
My cheap kit sounds like a pro setup now. Easy to tune and they hold their tune well even after heavy playing. Highly recommend for beginners upgrading their gear.

Durable for touring
I've been using Evans for years. These G2s last longer than single ply heads on the road. The oil coating helps reduce ring which is great for small venues.

Great sound, fast shipping
Love the warm tone these produce. The included drumsticks are decent quality too. Only reason for 4 stars is I wished the bass drum patch was slightly larger, but it works fine.

A: Simply clean the area on the batter side of the bass drum head where the beater strikes, peel the backing off the patch, and press it firmly onto the head. It protects the head from wear.
