Great quality but needs careful installation
The build quality is outstanding and the tuning holds very well. However, I recommend having a luthier install them as fitting the wooden shafts required some precise sanding to get the perfect fit.

Good product, slightly heavy
The tuning precision is fantastic, but the copper shafts are slightly heavier than traditional wood pegs. It took a day to get used to the balance, but the stability is worth it.
Q: Can these be used on a Gaohu as well?
A: These are specifically sized for the Erhu. While the mechanism is similar, the shaft length and diameter may not be suitable for a Gaohu without significant modification.
Q: Does the copper tarnish over time?
A: The copper has a protective coating to resist tarnishing. Regular wiping with a soft cloth after playing will keep the finish looking new for years.
Q: Will these fit a standard 8mm peg hole?
A: Yes, these are designed to fit standard 8mm peg holes commonly found on most traditional erhus. Minor adjustments may be needed for custom instruments.
