For the price, you really can't beat it. It's not a full electronic kit, but as a silent practice board, it does exactly what it promises. My stick control has improved significantly.

A: While marketed towards beginners and children, many advanced drummers use this pad for warm-ups and working on stick control rudiments because of its consistent rebound and portability.
Q: How loud is it really? Will my downstairs neighbors hear it?
A: The pad is engineered to be ultra-quiet. You will hear the sound of the stick hitting the surface, but there is no resonant boom like a real drum. In most apartment settings, it is barely audible to neighbors below, especially during normal daytime hours.
