Perfect upgrade for my old acoustic
This pickup transformed my dull-sounding guitar into a stage-ready instrument. The 4-band EQ gives me total control over the tone, and the built-in tuner is surprisingly accurate. Installation took about an hour, but the results were worth it.

Solid performance
Very happy with this purchase. It reduced feedback significantly compared to my old soundhole pickup. The volume knob has a nice taper, allowing for subtle swells. Just make sure you have a 9V battery ready upon arrival.

Great value, clear sound
For the price, you really can't beat this system. The sound is crisp and the bass control helps eliminate boominess. I deducted one star because the battery compartment is a bit tight to open, but otherwise, it works flawlessly.

Studio quality on a budget
I've used much more expensive preamps, and this holds its own. The noise floor is very low, and the LED display is bright enough to see on a dimly lit stage. Highly recommended for gigging musicians.

Good product, tricky install
The unit itself sounds great once installed. However, if you aren't comfortable drilling into your guitar or routing the side, you will need a professional luthier. The instructions could be more detailed for beginners.

Excellent tuner feature
The chromatic tuner is fast and locks onto notes instantly. I love that I don't need a clip-on tuner anymore. The equalizer sliders are smooth and allow for precise tone shaping during live performances.
