Compact and effective
Fits easily in my gig bag toolkit. The mechanism is simple but effective. I was able to swap out all four knobs on my Strat in under two minutes. Great value for the price.

Good but requires care
The tool works well, but you have to be careful not to squeeze too hard on fragile vintage knobs or they might crack. Instructions could be clearer on pressure limits. Otherwise, it's a solid tool.

Essential for any guitar tech

Works great on standard knobs
Does exactly what it says. The grip is strong and the rubber padding protects the knob cap. Took off a star because it struggles slightly with very old, stuck-on metal speed knobs, but works perfectly on modern plastic ones.

Professional quality

A: The rubber grips are molded onto the jaws and are not designed to be replaced separately. However, the high-quality material ensures long-term durability under normal use.
Q: What is the maximum diameter of the knob this can lift?
A: The jaws open up to approximately 25mm (about 1 inch), which covers the vast majority of electric guitar and bass control knobs available on the market.
Q: Can I use this on bass guitar knobs?
A: Absolutely. As long as the bass guitar uses standard push-on potentiometer knobs, this tool will work perfectly.
Q: Does this tool come with a case?
A: It comes with a small velvet storage pouch to keep it safe in your toolbox or gig bag, but not a hard shell case.
