Works well but requires some force
It does exactly what it says. For really stuck knobs, you need to wiggle it a bit, but it's much safer than using improvised tools. Great value for the price.

Essential tool for guitar maintenance

Good for standard knobs only
Works great on standard push-on knobs, but didn't fit the specific set screws on my bass guitar knobs. Make sure your knobs are the push-on type before buying.

A: No, this tool is designed specifically for push-on style knob caps. If your knob has a small set screw on the side, you will need an Allen wrench to loosen it first.
Q: Does this come with a protective case?
A: The tool is typically shipped in a small protective poly bag to keep it safe during transit, but it does not include a hard carrying case.
Q: What if the knob is extremely stuck due to grime?
A: For stubborn knobs, we recommend gently working the tool back and forth while applying upward pressure. You can also apply a tiny amount of contact cleaner around the base to loosen debris before using the puller.
