Silent switching is a game changer
I use this to mute my signal between songs without touching the amp. The switch is silent and doesn't introduce any pops or hums. Highly recommended for live performers.

Exactly what I needed

Perfect replacement for my bass

Decent but instructions missing
The part itself works fine and sounds good. However, there were no wiring diagrams included, so I had to look up how to wire the switch online. Would be nice to have a small guide.

Sturdy construction
Much better than the plastic jacks that come with cheap kits. The metal housing feels durable and the solder lugs are large enough for easy wiring. Great upgrade part.

Good value, tight fit
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars is that the mounting hole needed to be drilled out slightly larger on my older guitar, but once installed, it holds very securely.
Q: Is the switch momentary or does it stay in position?
A: The switch is a maintained toggle style; it stays in the On or Off position until you physically flip it again. It is not a momentary push-button.
Q: What is the diameter of the mounting hole required?
A: The standard mounting hole diameter required is approximately 11mm to 12mm (roughly 15/32 inches), which is standard for most electric guitars and basses.
Q: Does this come with a warranty?
A: Yes, all our F07 series components come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Q: Does this jack work with mono cables?
A: Yes, this stereo jack is fully compatible with standard mono instrument cables. The tip and ring will function correctly for mono signals.
