Easy DIY project
As someone who isn't an expert at soldering, having this pre-assembled was a lifesaver. It took me less than 30 minutes to swap out the old guard. The instructions were clear, and the components feel durable. My guitar sounds much fuller now.

Great value, minor fitment tweak needed
The electronics are top-notch for the price. I had to slightly enlarge one screw hole to get it to sit perfectly flush on my older Strat copy, but once installed, it looks professional and sounds amazing. The black finish matches my hardware perfectly.

Best modification I've made
This pickguard set punches way above its weight class. The mini humbucker provides a great rock tone while retaining clarity. The black 3-ply looks sleek and professional. If you want to upgrade your Squier or entry-level Strat, buy this immediately.

Excellent tone versatility

Perfect upgrade for my Squier

Solid components
The pots feel smooth and the output jack is sturdy. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wires were a bit long for my specific cavity, requiring some careful folding, but that's a minor issue. The sound quality is fantastic.

A: Yes, this pickguard follows the standard 11-hole pattern compatible with most American Fender Stratocasters and Squier ST series guitars. However, we always recommend checking your current pickguard's screw hole alignment before purchasing.

A: The assembly comes equipped with standard 250k ohm potentiometers for the volume and tone controls, which are ideal for single-coil and mini humbucker configurations to maintain brightness and clarity.
Q: Is a soldering iron required for installation?
A: No soldering is required for the electronics as they come pre-soldered. You will only need a screwdriver to remove the old pickguard screws, disconnect the output jack, and secure the new assembly into place.
