Smooth transition between instruments
Nice to have both options in one purchase for a multi-instrumentalist student. The embouchure feel is similar enough that switching between sax and clarinet isn't jarring.

Excellent durability
We have been using this mouthpiece for two school years now, and it still looks brand new. The ebonite material is very durable and resistant to cracks.

Perfect starter mouthpiece
Bought this for my daughter who is just starting band class. The sound is clear and consistent, making it much easier for her to hit the right notes. Highly recommend for beginners.

Classic Yamaha quality
You can't go wrong with Yamaha. The response is immediate, and the intonation is spot on. I use this as a backup for my alto sax during outdoor gigs.

Great value for the price
Solid construction and good tone production. It's not a professional-grade mouthpiece, but for the price point, it exceeds expectations. The clarinet side works well too.

Good but generic
It does the job fine for a student instrument. However, if you are an advanced player, you might find the tone a bit too bright and lacking in depth compared to custom options.
Q: How do I clean the ebonite material?
A: We recommend using warm water and mild soap with a soft swab. Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners or hot water, as these can damage the ebonite finish.
Q: Can I use this on a tenor saxophone?
A: No, this mouthpiece is specifically sized for Eb Alto Saxophones. Using it on a Tenor Saxophone will not fit correctly and will affect playability.
Q: What is the return policy if the tip opening is wrong for me?
A: We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in original packaging. If the mouthpiece has been played, hygiene regulations may prevent a return, so please check the sizing guide before purchasing.
Q: Does this come with a ligature and cap?
A: Yes, the package includes a standard metal ligature and a protective plastic cap for both the saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces.
Q: Is this suitable for a professional performer?
A: This model is primarily designed for students and intermediate players. Professional musicians often prefer mouthpieces with more specialized facings and materials.
