Why change what works?

I have tried many expensive mouthpieces over the years, but I always come back to the Yamaha 4C for practice sessions. It never fails to produce a good sound regardless of the reed strength I'm using.

The Gold Standard for Students

This is the mouthpiece that came with my student sax, but I kept it even after upgrading my horn. It offers incredible consistency and makes hitting high notes much easier for beginners. Highly recommended for anyone starting their journey.

Durable and Reliable

I've dropped this mouthpiece twice (oops!) and it still plays perfectly. The ebonite material seems very durable. The ligature included is basic but holds the reed securely. Great value for the price.

Good upgrade from stock

Bought this to replace the mouthpiece on my rented saxophone. The difference in sound quality was immediate. My teacher noticed the improvement right away. Only giving 4 stars because the cap fits a bit loosely.

Great tone, slightly resistant

I switched from a generic brand to this Yamaha 4C. The tone is much warmer and more focused. It feels a bit more resistant than what I was used to, but that actually helps with intonation control. Solid choice.
