Great value, easy install
Installation took less than ten minutes. The adhesive holds firmly inside the soundhole. Sound quality is very good for the price point, though I did have to adjust my EQ slightly to reduce some low-end boominess.

Solid budget option
For the price, you really cannot beat this. It's not going to replace a high-end microphone setup for a studio album, but for live gigs and practice, it delivers clear and reliable audio.

Good but needs careful positioning
The pickup works well, but finding the sweet spot for placement took some trial and error. If placed too close to the bridge, it sounds too bright. Once positioned correctly under the saddle area, it sounds decent.

Perfect for my vintage folk guitar
I was terrified of drilling holes in my old acoustic, so this no-hole solution was a lifesaver. The sound is warm and natural, capturing the true tone of the wood without that harsh piezo zing.

Invisible and effective
Once installed, you can barely see it inside the guitar. It stays secure even during vigorous strumming. The cable is long enough to reach my pedalboard comfortably. Highly recommended for buskers.

Excellent for recording demos
I use this primarily for home recording and it captures a surprisingly balanced tone. No feedback issues at moderate volumes. The fact that it requires no modification to the instrument is a huge plus.
Q: Can I remove this later without damaging my guitar finish?
A: Absolutely. The adhesive pads are designed to be removable. We recommend gently warming the area with a hairdryer on low heat if you plan to remove it after a long period to ensure clean removal.
Q: Is the cable detachable?
A: The cable is permanently attached to the pickup unit to ensure a secure connection and prevent signal loss. However, the end of the cable features a standard jack that plugs into any normal guitar amp.
Q: Will this fit a classical guitar with nylon strings?
A: Yes, the Double Debo X0 is designed to work with both steel-string acoustic and classical nylon-string guitars, provided there is enough space inside the soundhole for installation.
