Works surprisingly well on Guzheng
I bought this specifically for my Guzheng and it captures the resonance beautifully. The suction cup adheres firmly to the polished wood. Highly recommended for traditional string instruments.

Solid backup pickup
I keep this in my gig bag as an emergency backup. It's not quite as warm as my internal under-saddle pickup, but for the price and portability, it's an excellent alternative.
