Great concept, minor setup learning curve

The trap works very well once you figure out the balance point for the lid. It took me two tries to get the sensitivity right, but since then, it has been catching rats continuously. Just make sure to use strong bait like peanut butter.

Works but requires specific bait placement

The trap is sturdy and well-made, but if you don't place the bait exactly in the center of the trigger, the lid won't flip correctly. Once I adjusted my technique, it started working much better. Good product overall.

Finally a solution that works!

Humane and effective

A: No, the product comes complete with a durable, high-impact plastic bucket. You only need to provide your own bait and two AA batteries for the automatic resetting mechanism.

A: This trap is designed to handle both house mice and larger Norway rats. The entry hole is sized to allow rats to enter, and the bucket depth prevents even large rodents from escaping once the lid flips.

Q: How do I release the caught rodents?

A: Simply put on gloves, carry the bucket to a release location at least 2 miles from your home, tilt the bucket gently, and the rodents will run out. The smooth interior walls ensure they cannot climb out before you are ready.

Q: Is it safe to use around pets and children?
