Solid build, works as advertised
Used it on a 520 chain for my tricycle project. It required a bit of muscle to push the pin out, but the tool didn't bend or break. Good value for the price.

Perfect for my vintage bike restoration
This tool made removing the old rusted chain on my 1980s motorcycle incredibly easy. The 4-point system held the chain steady without slipping. Highly recommended for DIY mechanics.

Great for beginners
I was nervous about changing my chain myself, but this tool is very intuitive. The instructions were clear, and I had the old chain off in ten minutes.

Best universal cutter I've owned
I've tried cheaper versions that bent immediately. This specialized tool is worth the extra cost. The 4-point design provides excellent stability for all three chain sizes.

Essential garage tool
I run a small repair shop and bought this as a backup. It handles 420 and 428 chains effortlessly. The ergonomic handle saves my hands during repetitive jobs.

Heavy duty and reliable
The steel feels very thick and durable. It struggled slightly with a seized link on an old dirt bike, but after some penetrating oil, it worked perfectly.
Q: Will this tool work on a 530 pitch chain?
A: No, this specific model is designed strictly for 420, 428, and 520 chain sizes. Using it on a 530 chain may damage the tool or the chain.
Q: Is the handle removable for storage?
A: The T-bar handle is fixed to provide maximum leverage and structural integrity during operation. However, the compact design fits easily into standard toolbox drawers.
Q: Does this come with replacement pushing pins?
A: Yes, the package includes one spare pushing pin stored inside the handle compartment, along with the main tool and carrying case.
Q: Can I use this to install a new master link?
A: This tool is primarily designed for breaking (removing) chains. While it can push pins, we recommend using a dedicated chain press tool for installing riveted master links to ensure proper torque.
Q: What is the warranty period for this tool?
A: This product comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
