Lovely instrument, stiff strings initially
The instrument itself is gorgeous and sounds authentic. The strings were a bit stiff out of the box, but after playing for a week, they loosened up nicely. Highly recommended for serious students.

Exceeded expectations

Beautiful craftsmanship

Perfect for Beijing Opera Practice
The tone is incredibly bright and piercing, exactly what is needed for Xipi tuning. The ebony body feels substantial and the fine-tuners make adjusting between scenes very quick.
