Excellent for artistic journaling
While marketed for students, these are great for light artistic journaling too. The water-based ink allows for some subtle blending if you work quickly. The fiber tip gives a nice line variation.

Good quality, cute packaging
The pens arrived well-packaged and the case is sturdy. The ink is very fluid. They work great on standard notebook paper, though they can feather slightly on very thin paper. Overall a solid choice.

Love that they are refillable!

Great value and smooth writing
I bought these for journaling and I am impressed by how smoothly they write. The fiber tip is durable. Only giving 4 stars because I wish the set came with a few more dark shades.

Best pens for color-coding notes
I use these for extensive note-taking during lectures. The tips don't fray easily even after heavy use, and the colors distinct enough to create a great color-coding system. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect for my daughter's school projects
These Monami pens are fantastic. The colors are vibrant but not too bold, making them perfect for highlighting notes without bleeding through the paper. My elementary student loves using them for mind mapping.

A: These pens feature translucent water-based ink, so they are best suited for white or light-colored paper. They will not show up well on dark surfaces.
Q: Do these pens bleed through standard printer paper?
A: Generally, no. These are designed to be low-bleed. However, results may vary depending on the specific thickness and quality of the paper used.
Q: How long does the ink last before drying out if the cap is left off?
A: Like most water-based pens, leaving the cap off for extended periods can cause the tip to dry. We recommend recapping immediately after use to ensure longevity.
