Great quality, slight odor initially
The material quality is excellent and very durable. There was a slight rubber smell right after installation, but it dissipated completely within three days. Kids love running on it safely.

Excellent drainage and safety

Withstands harsh weather perfectly

A: The bags contain only the EPDM rubber granules. The polyurethane binder must be purchased separately based on your specific project requirements and local climate conditions.
Q: Can this be installed directly over dirt or grass?
A: No, EPDM granules require a solid, stable base such as compacted asphalt or concrete. Installing over dirt or grass will lead to uneven settling and potential failure of the surface.
Q: What is the curing time before the playground can be used?
A: Depending on temperature and humidity, the surface typically cures within 24 to 48 hours. We recommend waiting at least 48 hours before allowing heavy foot traffic or play activities.
Q: How many bags do I need to cover 500 square feet at a depth of 1.5 inches?
A: At 1 inch depth, one bag covers approximately 10 sq ft. For 1.5 inches, coverage drops to about 6.6 sq ft per bag. You would need roughly 76 bags to cover 500 sq ft. We recommend ordering 5% extra for waste.
Q: Are these granules safe for children with allergies?
A: Yes, our EPDM granules are hypoallergenic and do not contain latex. They are manufactured to meet strict safety standards for public playgrounds and schools.
