Excellent for batch cooking

Because of the large surface area, I can steam enough dinner for my whole family in one go. It fits nicely in my 12-inch wok. Cleanup is a breeze since it goes right in the dishwasher.

Sturdy and versatile

Best purchase for healthy cooking

Great quality, slightly large for some pots

The build quality is excellent and it cleans up very easily. Just make sure to measure your pot before buying; it's truly extra-large and didn't fit my standard 8-quart pot, but works great in my larger stockpot.

A: The holes are designed to prevent clogging, but if residue builds up, we recommend soaking the tray in warm soapy water for 10 minutes. A soft brush or sponge usually clears any remaining particles easily.

Q: Can I stack two of these trays to steam multiple layers?

A: While you physically can stack them if your pot is tall enough, this specific model does not come with stacking feet or interlocking mechanisms. For stable multi-layer steaming, we recommend our dedicated tiered steamer sets.

Q: Is this safe to use in the oven?

A: Yes, being made of 304 stainless steel, it is oven-safe up to 500°F. However, please ensure the handles of your specific pot or wok are also oven-safe before placing the entire assembly in the oven.

Q: Will this fit in a standard 10-inch frying pan?

A: This tray is designed as an extra-large insert (11.8 inches). It will likely be too wide for a standard 10-inch frying pan but fits perfectly in 12-inch woks or larger stockpots.

Q: Does this come with a lid?
