Reliable workhorse
We have had this running 12 hours a day for two months with zero downtime. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the instruction manual could be more detailed regarding drainage setup, but overall very satisfied.

Solid machine, minor installation learning curve
The build quality is excellent; the stainless steel feels very durable. It took us a little while to get the water line pressure just right, but once set up, it runs automatically without issues. The ice is clear and hard.

Quiet and efficient

Perfect for our busy bubble tea shop
We upgraded to this HICON ice maker three months ago and it has been a game changer. During peak hours, we used to run out of ice constantly. Now, the 250lbs capacity keeps us stocked all day. The square cubes melt slower which customers love for their drinks.
Q: Does this unit come with a water filter included?
A: The unit does not include an inline water filter, but it is highly recommended to install one to protect the machine and ensure ice clarity. The inlet size is standard 1/4 inch.
Q: Can this be installed under a counter?
A: Yes, provided there is adequate ventilation. The unit requires at least 6 inches of clearance on the sides and back for air intake and exhaust to prevent overheating.
