Perfect gift for artists

Solid inkstone for the price. The double ring prevents spills effectively. My only minor critique is that the lid could be slightly heavier to stay in place better if bumped.

Beautiful Celadon Finish

Great for beginners

Excellent moisture retention
The 'hot pot' design really works. I can leave my ink mixed for an hour without it becoming sludge. The ceramic quality feels premium and substantial in hand.

A: The double-ring pool holds approximately 30-40ml of liquid ink, which is sufficient for several hours of continuous writing or painting.
Q: Does this inkstone come with a brush rest?
A: No, this specific model includes only the inkstone and its matching lid. Brush rests are sold separately.
Q: How do I clean the ink residue after use?
A: Simply rinse gently with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid using soap or detergents as they can affect the ink grinding texture and flavor.
Q: Can I use liquid ink directly in this, or must I grind an ink stick?
A: You can use both! The textured bottom area is designed for grinding ink sticks, while the smooth pool areas are perfect for holding pre-made liquid ink.
Q: Is the ceramic microwave safe?
A: While the ceramic is durable, we do not recommend microwaving the inkstone as thermal shock could damage the glaze or the structure. It is designed for room temperature use.
