Stunning detail for the price
The engraving on the aircraft carrier is incredibly sharp. The gold plating looks authentic and has a nice weight to it. Perfect addition to my military collection.

Good but not perfect
The coin looks great from a distance, but upon close inspection, there are minor imperfections in the enamel fill. Still a decent collectible for the cost.

Great display piece
Bought this as a gift for my father who served in the Navy. He loved it. The case it comes in is a bit flimsy, but the coin itself is excellent quality.

Heavy and well-made
This coin has a substantial feel in the hand. The detailing on the flight deck and the hull number is precise. Highly recommend for any aviation enthusiast.

Exceeded expectations
I was worried it might look cheap given the price point, but I was wrong. The colors are vibrant and the gold finish is very reflective without being tacky.
Q: Does the package include a stand to display the coin?
A: Yes, each coin comes with a clear plastic display case that allows you to view both sides of the coin while keeping it protected.
Q: Is this coin made of real gold?
A: No, this is a commemorative coin made of zinc alloy with a gold-plated finish. It is not solid gold.
Q: What is the difference between CV-34 and CV-62 mentioned in the title?
A: CV-34 refers to the USS Oriskany and CV-62 refers to the USS Independence. This specific design features artwork inspired by these historic aircraft carriers.
Q: Is the coin magnetic?
A: Since the core material is zinc alloy, the coin is not magnetic. You can test this with a standard magnet if you wish.
Q: Can I customize the text on the back of the coin?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer custom engraving services for this item. It is sold as a standard commemorative piece.
