Beautiful but Smaller Than Expected
The carving is gorgeous and the smell of the Thuja wood is very pleasant. I just thought it would be slightly larger based on the photos, but it's still a lovely addition to my desk.

Solid Construction
Very well made and sturdy. The base is flat so it sits perfectly without wobbling. Took off one star only because shipping took a bit longer than estimated, but the product itself is flawless.

High Quality Wood
I collect wooden crafts, and this is one of the finest pieces I own. The finish is smooth, and the natural color variations in the wood make it unique. Highly recommend.

Perfect Gift for Collectors
Bought this as a housewarming gift for my parents who love Asian culture. They were thrilled! The packaging was secure, and the piece arrived in perfect condition.
Q: Can this be placed outdoors on a patio?
A: We recommend keeping this item indoors. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, rain, or extreme humidity may affect the wood's finish and integrity.
Q: Is this figurine made from solid wood or composite material?
A: This Qilin figurine is carved from a single piece of solid Thuja wood, ensuring durability and authentic grain patterns.
Q: How do I clean the figurine without damaging the carve details?
A: Simply use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush to gently dust the surface. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
Q: Is each piece identical since they are hand-carved?
A: No, because each figurine is hand-carved, there will be slight variations in grain pattern and minor dimensional differences, making every piece unique.
Q: Does the wood have a strong scent?
A: Thuja wood has a mild, pleasant, and natural aromatic scent that is not overpowering. It tends to fade slightly over time but remains detectable up close.
