Good, but scent faded quickly
The carving is nice, but the woody smell mentioned in the description disappeared after a few days of airing out. Still a decent decor item.

Great stress reliever
I keep this on my desk and pick it up when thinking. The texture is soothing, and the symbolism of the Qilin is a nice bonus.

Beautiful but smaller than expected
It is a lovely piece and fits perfectly in my palm. I just wished it was slightly larger based on the photos, but the quality makes up for it.

Authentic feel
As someone who collects Wenwan items, this is a solid addition. The grain pattern is beautiful and unique to this specific piece.
Q: Is this made from real Thuja wood or a composite?
A: This piece is carved from 100% natural Thuja wood, ensuring unique grain patterns and a genuine wooden feel.
Q: What does the Qilin symbolize in this context?
A: In traditional culture, the Qilin is an auspicious beast symbolizing good luck, prosperity, and protection.
Q: Does the Qilin have any loose parts that could break off?
A: No, the Qilin is carved from a single solid block of wood, so there are no glued-on parts or fragile protrusions.
Q: Is the surface smooth enough for daily handling?
A: Absolutely. Each piece is sanded and polished to ensure a smooth surface that is comfortable for daily handheld use.
Q: Can I use oil to enhance the shine?
A: Yes, you can apply a small amount of natural wood oil occasionally to maintain the luster, though it comes pre-polished.
