Perfect gift for culture lovers

Bought this as a housewarming gift for my parents who love traditional Chinese decor. They were thrilled with the symbolism and the quality of the wood.

Beautiful desk piece

Looks great on my home office shelf. It feels solid and heavy. The only reason for 4 stars is that the wood grain varies slightly from the photo, but it's still beautiful.

Stunning detail

The scales on the dragon and the feathers on the phoenix are meticulously carved. This is a genuine piece of art, not just a factory-made ornament.

Calming presence

There is something very grounding about having this on my desk. The aroma of the thuja wood is subtle but pleasant when you lean in close.

Exquisite craftsmanship

The detail on the dragon and phoenix is incredible. You can tell this was carved by hand. The thuja wood has a lovely natural scent that isn't overpowering.

5 FAQ

Q: Does the wood have a strong smell that might bother sensitive people?

A: Thuja wood has a mild, cedar-like scent that is generally considered pleasant and calming. It is not pungent like some other aromatic woods.

Q: What are the approximate dimensions of this carving?

A: The item measures approximately 6 inches in length, 2.5 inches in width, and 3 inches in height, though slight variations may occur due to hand-carving.

Q: Is this item made from real thuja wood or a composite material?

A: This ornament is crafted from 100% natural thuja wood, ensuring unique grain patterns and a genuine natural aroma.

Q: How should I clean this item to maintain its finish?

A: We recommend dusting gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, chemical cleaners, or exposing the wood to direct sunlight for extended periods.

Q: Can this be used as a functional pen holder?

A: While it is primarily designed as an ornamental display piece or paperweight, its flat base allows it to hold a few pens securely if placed carefully.
