Perfect size for a tea pet
I was worried it might be too small, but it's the ideal size for a handheld tea pet. The wood feels solid and high quality. It develops a nice patina after a few weeks of use.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful scent
The detail on the magpie and plum branch is incredible. You can tell this was carved by hand. The cypress wood has a lovely, calming scent that isn't overpowering. It sits perfectly on my tea tray.

Beautiful piece, slight variation in color
Since it is natural wood, the color varies slightly from the photos, but I actually like the uniqueness. The carving is very delicate. Just be careful not to drop it as the branches are thin.

Smooth finish and great texture
The polishing job is fantastic. It feels smooth to the touch without any rough edges. It adds a wonderful traditional aesthetic to my modern tea setup.

Lovely item, requires gentle care
Very happy with the purchase. The wood is aromatic and the design is classic. Just remember that since it's untreated raw wood mostly, you shouldn't soak it in water like a ceramic tea pet.

Great gift for tea enthusiasts
Bought this as a gift for my father who loves Gongfu tea. He was thrilled with the symbolism of 'joy on eyebrows' and the quality of the cypress wood. Highly recommended.
Q: Is the string for hanging included?
A: This item is primarily sold as a tea pet. While it has a hole for a pendant, the hanging cord is not included in the package.
Q: Can this be used as a functional teapot?
A: No, this is a decorative tea pet or pendant. It is solid wood and cannot hold water or brew tea.
Q: What does the 'Joy on Eyebrows' design symbolize?
A: In Chinese culture, a magpie standing on a plum branch symbolizes imminent good news or happiness arriving soon.
Q: Does the cypress scent fade over time?
A: The natural aroma may become subtler over time, but gently rubbing the surface with your hands or a soft cloth can help release the scent again.
Q: How do I clean this if it gets dusty?
A: Simply use a soft, dry brush or a microfiber cloth to dust it off. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners to preserve the wood's integrity.
