Excellent stress reliever
Smooth edges make it perfect for handling while thinking or reading. The aged wood feels substantial in the hand. The 'awakening lion' design is unique compared to standard beads I usually see.

Beautiful craftsmanship and scent
The detail on the lion's mane is incredible. You can tell this was carved by hand. The wood has a lovely natural aroma that isn't overpowering. Perfect size for keeping in my pocket during stressful meetings.

Great quality, slightly smaller than expected
I bought this as a gift for my father who collects Wenwan items. He loves the high-oil finish which gives it a nice sheen. It is a bit smaller than I imagined from the photos, but still very detailed.

Authentic Thuja wood
As someone familiar with aromatic woods, I can confirm this is genuine aged Thuja. The grain pattern is beautiful and the oil content is high, meaning it will develop a great patina over time.

Nice item but packaging was basic
The carving itself is fantastic and matches the description. However, it arrived in a simple plastic bag inside a box, rather than the velvet pouch mentioned. The product is 5 stars, packaging 2 stars.
Q: Is this wood treated with any chemicals or artificial scents?
A: No, our Thuja wood pieces are 100% natural. The aroma comes solely from the high-oil content of the aged wood itself, with no artificial additives or chemical treatments.
Q: Does every piece look exactly like the photo?
A: Since each piece is hand-carved from natural wood, there will be slight variations in grain patterns and exact dimensions, making every lion unique. The style and quality remain consistent.
Q: Is this suitable for beginners to Wenwan collecting?
A: Absolutely. This hand piece is durable and easy to maintain, making it an excellent starting point for those new to Wenwan culture without requiring complex upkeep routines.
Q: What does the 'Awakening Lion' symbolize?
A: In traditional culture, the awakening lion represents courage, protection, and the dispelling of negative energy. It is often kept to inspire confidence and alertness.
Q: How do I care for the wood to maintain its shine?
A: Simply handle it regularly with clean hands; the natural oils from your skin will help polish it. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for long periods or soaking it in water.
