Perfect size for pocket carrying
The gourd shape fits perfectly in the palm. The wood feels dense and high quality. I've been rolling it for a week and the patina is starting to develop nicely.

Solid construction
No cracks or imperfections visible. It feels substantial despite being small. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came with a small pouch for storage.

Great starter piece for patina lovers
If you enjoy watching wood change color over time, this is the one. It responds quickly to natural oils from hands. The gourd shape is traditional and elegant.

Beautiful grain, mild scent
Lovely piece of craftsmanship. The green sandalwood has a very fine grain. The scent is not overpowering, which I appreciate for office use. Great for fidgeting.
Q: Does this come with a string or chain for wearing as a pendant?
A: No, this item is sold as a loose handpiece for rolling and collecting. It does not include a chain or cord, but you can easily add one if desired.
Q: Can I use oil to speed up the aging process?
A: We recommend using only the natural oils from your clean hands. Applying external oils can lead to uneven coloring or clog the wood grain.
Q: How long does it typically take to see a noticeable patina?
A: With daily handling, most users notice a subtle darkening and sheen within 2 to 3 weeks. Full patina development is a gradual process that can take several months.
Q: What is the difference between Small-Leaf and regular sandalwood?
A: Small-Leaf Sandalwood typically features a denser grain structure and finer texture, making it ideal for detailed carving and smooth hand-rolling experiences.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or varnish?
A: No, the sandalwood is left in its natural state without varnish or chemical treatments to allow for authentic patina development through natural skin oils.
