Great gift for my father
Bought this as a gift for my dad who loves traditional handicrafts. He was impressed by the quality of the wood grain and the careful packaging. No cracks or imperfections.

Good quality, slightly smaller than expected
The craftsmanship is top-notch, but I expected them to be slightly larger based on the photos. Still, the polish is excellent and they fit well in a smaller hand.

Exceptional symmetry and polish
The matching on these two walnuts is incredible. The 'Four Towers' pattern is very distinct, and the initial polish feels smooth without being waxy. Great starter piece for collecting.

Beautiful but requires patience
These are stunning right out of the box. The Qilin pattern is subtle but visible under good light. Just remember that real wenwan walnuts take time to develop that deep red patina.

Authentic Wenwan experience
As a collector, I can confirm these are genuine high-quality walnuts. The 'Official Hat' shape is classic, and the natural color variation adds to their character. Very satisfied.

Perfect weight and feel
I was worried they might be too light, but they have a solid, dense feel in the hand. The carving of the lion's head is intricate. Highly recommended for daily stress relief.
Q: Do these come pre-oiled or completely natural?
A: They arrive with a light natural hand-polish to protect the surface but no artificial oils or waxes. This allows you to start the patina process naturally with your own handling.
Q: Are the two walnuts perfectly matched in size?
A: Yes, we manually select and match pairs to ensure the size, weight, and pattern symmetry are as close as possible, though minor natural variations may exist.
Q: What is the best way to clean these if they get dusty?
A: We recommend using a soft, dry bristle brush (like a clean toothbrush) to gently remove dust from the crevices. Avoid using water or chemical cleaners.
Q: Is the velvet pouch included suitable for long-term storage?
A: Yes, the included breathable velvet pouch is perfect for storing the walnuts when not in use, protecting them from scratches while allowing air circulation.
Q: How long does it usually take for the color to change?
A: With daily handling, you may notice a slight darkening within a few weeks. Developing a deep, translucent red patina typically takes several months to a year of consistent play.
